The Associated Content Dead Poet's Society

One of Associated Content's poets maintains an excellent blog to highlight his fellow AC bards and their verse.

Called "Dead Poet's Society: An Outlet for Poets on Associated Content," it is maintained by a Content Producer called deadPoet. Updated frequently, the blog highlights individual poems and AC poetry writers. It also links back to conversations about poetry in the AC Forum. You can make some amazing discoveries on Dead Poet's Society.

Writing poetry is incredibly popular at Associated Content. Last year, over 4,000 Content Producers published at least one poem on AC. The poetry contests, like the Valentine's Day contest that recently wrapped up, get hundreds of submissions from people eager to exercise their creativity and have their work read and appreciated by others. You can see the winner of the Valentine's Very Short Love Poem here.

Stop by deadPoet's blog tonight, it'll help you discover a new favorite poet or poem on AC.

Associated Content CPs Making Moves

There have been some impressive developments lately amongst our Content Producers.

The lovely Momie Tullottes was interviewed on WAHM Bootcamp's website. Her work ethic and energy level are nothing short of astounding! She shares sound advice for women who dream of making a living from home.

“The G-Man”, Gary G. Toms just landed at gig as a writer at Felony Magazine and credits AC in this press release. The G-Man recently broke some hard-hitting news on Associated Content about discrimination in Cincinnati schools. Read Xio Ying's War and learn about one family's struggle to find the American Dream. The article attracted a prominent attorney to take on the case.

Finally, "The AC Daily" is no more. Sabah Karimi's blog has been resurrected as The AC Weekly. Stop by once a week for Sabah's updates on the world of Associated Content.

Thanks to The Body Shop for The Link

The Body Shop's official blog linked to Content Producer Tracey Pawlukovich's article "Skin Care Tips for Halloween Make-up and Appliances" today. Congrats, Tracey.

According to Tracey, things you should keep in mind while preparing for Halloween festivities include "use a primer on your skin before applying make-up or latex appliances" and "if your costume includes latex foam make-up appliances, use spirit gum for your adhesive."

People who find themselves in need of this type of advice are probably wearing awesome costumes and should consider posting pictures of themselves in a Halloween slide show on Associated Content. We have a nifty new Slide Show Library that will make sharing those pictures easy. If you do post one, send me a link and I'll put it up here on the AC Blog for your fellow CPs to admire your costuming creativity.
