New Page View Report - Coming Soon

Many of you have requested more information about the traffic your content is receiving, and to that end, we’re happy to announce an exciting addition to the suite of reporting tools we offer.

In May, we launched the Daily Page View Report, enabling you to track your total number of page views, day to day. Starting next week, a brand new report will enable you to track your daily views on each individual piece of content. You’ll also see a graph for each piece, so that you can easily monitor its popularity over the previous two months.

Click on the thumbnail below for a sneak preview of this new report:

With more granular information about the traffic you’re receiving, you’ll be better able to observe trends and draw meaningful conclusions about the popularity of the topics you’re choosing. We hope this information will help you to become a better informed and more successful AC Contributor!

What other stats do you wish you had access to? Let us know by leaving a comment.

How about allowing us to see the keywords used to find our articles?

I was going to say what Nina already said. :)

Can you make the reports exportable so that we can track them in Excel?

Nina and Angie-

Both great suggestions, which I'll pass on.

Will the report be quick though? The Daily Page View Report sometimes takes over 5 minutes to load. Can't imagine how long it will take once it's possible to track every piece?

I like the changes y'all are giving us, but also agree with the suggestions. Good job, guys.

I agree with the above ... I'd love to see keywords used to find our articles.

Hi,

I am new to AC, and thanks to this post I could see daily reports on my content. I would like to know where these readers came from as well - whether from search engine, if so, what is the keyword they searched for, or did they come from a referral link (like twitter or gmail or something) to know which source works best.. and so on..

Is it possible to get these metrics now? If not, can they be made available?

Thanks.

I agree with the others. I'd like to see the keywords used to find the article.

Oh yes! keywords and export would be wonderful!

I agree that keywords would be helpful. I already love the new reports that I can check daily.

Ditto! Ditto! Ditto! We need to see the same types of stats one would see in Google analytics, ie. who referred - organic or referral link and where that link was. When we know what's popular, and how the traffic got to us, we can then focus on other traffic methods or boost the ones that are already working! Rock on! Love the enhancements! Not sure if it is Jason's expertise but, if it is, he rocks!

The daily page view reports are helpful and interesting...

Yes....keywords used for each article would get my vote too with the search engine info. I get this info in Suite 101 and find it very helpful!

I agree with the other comments about getting info about the keywords used to access our articles.

As a side question, I have looked on all my pages at AC for my total page view statistic, and I don't see it. Ever since the redesign several months ago, I haven't been able to find it. My daily page view is quite easily visible, but I still can't locate my total page views.

Can someone tell me where on my Account or Content page it's found? Thanks.
