Tricks & Treats from AC's Halloween Guide

There are more than 15,000 pieces of crafty, handy, frugal and sometimes frightening Halloween content in the Associated Content library – and they help make October one of the biggest traffic months for AC Contributors. This year we got into the spirit of the season by carving up our standard article template and dressing it up in a spooky, new disguise. Check it out:

Looking for some last minute Halloween costume ideas? Need some recipes for your Halloween party? Wanna read some bone-rattling short stories? Check out the Associated Content Halloween Guide, powered by the sharp insight and fiendish imagination the AC Community:

I've been meaning to say how much I like this feature! Makes it like more like a e-zine.

Pretty cool, AC. Love the format, graphics, content selections, etc. Great job!

I think it is too busy in the background. I like the idea of changing it up and putting some holiday images in there but I feel it is too much. The articles do not seem to be the focal point of the page.

I don't like it.

We try to convince people that AC isn't a blog, and to me this looks just like one.

Hi AC;

I was initially surprisedby the new haloween layout and overall, I really like it. The adverts are loud, but they don't get in your way during the time when your main focus is reading. The layout is clear and sharp. Page numbers and photo image numbers are clear and obvious, allowing readers to see there are more than just page one and the first image. Overall, I like it. My only concern is the bar below the article with related videos creates a divider between the content and the resources/comment section. I would like to see this again for Christmas, Valentines day, and Easter.

The page seems to take a little longer to load (probably because it's new), but I like it!

Will AC keep this design for Halloween items?

Will AC create themed pages for other holidays and themes?

Does this include older Halloween items (as from previous years)?

Cool stuff.

I love the Halloween background and format. Looks great!

Sorry. I hope the background doesn't hang around long.

Very nice... please do Thanksgiving before you do Christmas.... if you plan to continue with the themes that is.

I'd like it if it weren't so cluttered. And if my article showed up on my profile page and not just from links I've posted at other sites.

Has any seen any awesome reviews of local haunted houses in the area like Texas Terror, Phobia or Screamworld yet?
