The holiday season is a great time of year to be festive. The holidays are filled with fun times with family and friends. We're reminded every year in the holiday season of things to be thankful for: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2405844/things_that_im_most_thankful_for_in.html
Then, after we fill ourselves with turkey; we get to warm our hearts with christmas cheer and focus on giving:

That was an incredibly colorful and festive site design you had for Thanksgiving! That was gorgeous! I was out for a week or so visiting family, so I'm very sad that I missed it on the live website. Great work AC!
