Associated Content Writer Earns Ten Million Page Views

An amazing new milestone was reached on Associated Content at the beginning of February.

R.S. became our first Content Producer to reach (and surpass) ten million page views.

10,000,000!

10,010,165, to be exact. It's a huge accomplishment, and one that we hope many more CPs will have the opportunity to experience.

R.S. started contributing to Associated Content in May 2005, just months after we launched the site. Since then, she has published an astounding 4,073 pieces of content covering a diverse array of topics. Her experience provides an excellent example of how good content continues to perform for you over time. She produced an enormous volume of search-optimized, search-friendly content in her early years on AC, and it is that solid foundation that has driven her astounding page view numbers. By creating "evergreen" content that continues to attract visitors, R.S. has established a solid body of income-generating work that earns considerable Performance Pay month after month.

There are several other Content Producers who have reached impressive page view milestones recently. Visit their profiles to see what they're doing to drive such incredible numbers and ensure continual earnings from AC.

Hot on R.S.'s heels is Crystal Ray with over eight million page views.

Kassidy Emerson sailed passed six million and is well on her way to seven.

Emma S. is rapidly closing in on six million page views.

Multiple-PMA winner Pam Gaulin recently passed five million page views and will undoubtedly have many more by the end of 2009.

We're honored to have such successful Content Producers on our site and we're proud that we've been able to provide a platform with such huge earning and exposure potential for them—and anyone—with talent and determination.

New Content Producers You Should Know

Tons of new CPs sign up for Associated Content every day. They're a diverse group of people looking for experience, exposure, excitement, income or a combination of all of the things that AC has to offer it's users. Below are three new Content Producers who've been with AC for about a month and have been creating great stuff.

"My 2 Cents if I'm not Overcharging" joined AC in December of 2008 and has been busy publishing articles on the economy and employment since then. He holds a B.S in Applied Mathematics and has a real love for writing. He even writes poetry.

Homeschool teacher and former Naval Officer Brooke Lorren became a Content Producer for AC in December, 2008 and earned $100 in her first month. She wrote about her expriences as a new AC-er here. She also writes about family, kids and news articles.
Stop by and give her some encouragement!

D.W. is an American expat living in the U.K. He has also been with AC since December '08 and is a music lover who writes on a wide variety of subjects. Check out these two articles and tell him what you think of his song choices.

Associated Content CPs Making Moves

There have been some impressive developments lately amongst our Content Producers.

The lovely Momie Tullottes was interviewed on WAHM Bootcamp's website. Her work ethic and energy level are nothing short of astounding! She shares sound advice for women who dream of making a living from home.

“The G-Man”, Gary G. Toms just landed at gig as a writer at Felony Magazine and credits AC in this press release. The G-Man recently broke some hard-hitting news on Associated Content about discrimination in Cincinnati schools. Read Xio Ying's War and learn about one family's struggle to find the American Dream. The article attracted a prominent attorney to take on the case.

Finally, "The AC Daily" is no more. Sabah Karimi's blog has been resurrected as The AC Weekly. Stop by once a week for Sabah's updates on the world of Associated Content.

Charitable Causes on AC

Content producers publish their work at Associated Content for a variety of reasons, ranging from supplementing their income to gaining experience writing on the web. There quite a few individuals and organizations using Associated Content to raise awareness and money for their charitable causes by publishing their work here, too.

The folks and groups listed below are a sampling of the wide variety of causes represented on AC.

All articles categorized on AC as nonprofit can be found here.

Gayle Crabtree is the founder and Executive Director of Hope for Healing.Org in Tennessee. Hope for Healing.Org works with victims of domestic violence, juvenile offenders and assists with the personal emergencies of local citizens battling poverty.

Dee is a prison activist and advocate in MA. She writes on AC to raise awareness and bring reform to the U.S. prison system. She is also the founder of the The Abolishment Movement website, dedicated to abolishing the death penalty. Dee's articles cover news and issues related to all aspects of the prison system including taxes, death row and even interviews with inmates.

Mindy Block
is the founder of Quality Parks, a registered 501(c)(3) charity. All of the proceeds from her work on Associated Content go to the foundation. She writes about nature conservation and outdoors as well as the occasional Trekkie article. Drop her a line if you'd like to help out.

Solution Writers is a group focused on using writing exercises to help individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Based in the U.S and Canada, these writers are encouraged to complete various writing exercises, writing poetry, prose and articles, which help them heal emotionally and gain sense of being and independence. They're eager for help from Content Producers who are therapists, psychologists and educators. Write to solutionwriters [at] gmail.com with the subject "article" to learn more and to help them out.

*Update (5/1/09), Nikki published an article called How to Make Money for Charity Using Your Computer that is an essential guide to online charitable earning and donation. She offers suggestions like using Goodsearch.com and Goodshop.com to raise money, simply by using their website!

If I missed you, drop me a line in the comments and I'll get you added to this roll-call.

These generous souls are not uncommon on AC. Many of our Content Producers donate their time and money to a wide variety of causes, as a few briefly discussed in the Forum. At the request of our CPs, Associated Content is currently working on developing a program that will enable direct donations of AC payments to charity through the site. It is a ways off yet, but we're committed to making it happen. We'll keep you updated here as things develop.

Spotlight On Content Producers in Alaska

Alaska has gotten quite a bit of attention recently, what with a few Alaskan politicians making the national news on a regular basis. It got me wondering how many of Associated Content's CPs are based in our northernmost state and what they're writing about. There are currently 21 registered Content Producers who claim AK as their home. Below are 4 of the standouts.

Busy CP Clever Shopper lives in Eagle River, AK. From there, she writes lots of informative reviews of beauty products and grocery items.

Unwirklich Vin Zant, living in Soldotna, AK. I looked on a map to see where Soldotna is. Just outside of the giant Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, it looks like a beautiful place. Unwirklich writes product reviews and advice on pregnancy and motherhood. She takes many of the photos that accompany her articles herself.

Jake S is an Anchorage resident who joined AC in September. His content is largely Alaska-centric and will make you want to visit. Personally, I'll wait for spring...

Jacks Twins lives at Elemendorf AFB, AK. A mother to young twins as well as "a veteran, an athlete and a college graduate", she writes about parenting and family topics with a dash of fitness and health. Cute baby pics accompany her articles.

For more on activities in AK read Randy Godwin's "Alaska Hunting Trip Information" and Jill Veskco's "Fly Fishing in Alaska."

Audio Producers You Should be Listening to

With so many talented people writing text articles for AC it is easy to get caught up in reading. But remember, there are people posting great photo slideshows and videos and, for today's feature, audio content on Associated Content. The three CPs below are posting excellent original audio work on AC, so stop by and listen to what they're talking and singing about.

On the musical front, VA resident Barth Wooster has published songs from unreleased albums by the band Benvolio. They're lovely, wistful songs that feature excellent piano work and would be a thrill to hear live.

Singer-songwriter Linda Knutson is another VA resident with great musical content on Associated Content. In addition to her poetry, she's published 6 songs where the sensitive (and sometimes funny) lyrics are accompanied by an acoustic guitar.

Dangerous Lee is the host of a humorous talk radio show based in MI. A woman of many talents, Dangerous Lee does interviews, reviews, thought pieces and on-location segments. She's also a humor advice columnist, author, actress and activist. Its a wonder she has time to sleep at night.
