We're very excited to bring you the first glimpse at the new face -- or rather, the 400,000 new faces -- of Associated Content!
Click the thumbnail below to preview the brand new Associated Content Contributor profile, rolling out across the site in the near future:
The most exciting enhancements include...
(1) An enlarged profile picture and stats dashboard. Get your high-res photos ready!
(2) A customizable Featured Content widget. Hand select and curate up to 10 pieces of your best content to highlight at the top of your profile!
(3) A category filter. Now you can view and share a filtered view of your own profile or sort other Contributors’ profile pages by category. This is one of the most frequently requested features from the AC community, and we're thrilled to provide it.
Let us know what you think about the preview above and stay tuned for the official launch. We look forward to collecting even more feedback once you've had a chance to test drive all the new features.

This is rather cool. Can not wait to be able to filter content. Excellent! Looking forward to the launch. Any idea when? (Why am I asking...lol)
Awesome! I LOVE the new features! Thanks AC! Cannot wait to see this in action.
Only thing that people may not like is the big numbers for page views, published content, etc in the dashboard section. But it's not really that big of a deal.
Other than that, I think this will be very well received by the AC Family. :)
Love it! Agree with Lyn that the big rounded numbers in the stats block look a little awkward, but I'm sure will get used to it in time, like everything else.
I know I already left a comment. had to come back with more after discussing it with people on facebook. There's been no negative feedback, by the way. ;)
I like that the search and filter sections will be more prominent. And of course, the feature section is awesome! I have certain favorites that I would like to show there, as I'm sure many fellow writers do too. And I love that we will now be able to actually tell what our fellow writers look like without using a magnifying glass. lol
Now this is nice -- especially the image. It's what makes shows AC is not a MILL, but an AUTHOR-driven site. Gorgeous.
I like it. For those who are visually challenged, or in my case just getting old... LOL this is great.
I like the filter aspect of it.
Well done, AC. These layouts really look professional.
This is really great and I can't wait for it to go live! Thanks for listening.
Love it!!
I'm so glad we can feature our best work! This is a GREAT new development! Thank you!
This is going to be really cool! Can't wait till its launced, the only negative thing I can say is, with the pictures so large I now have to go out and get heavy duty wrinkle cream and hair dye before submitting a high res. pic. LOL
Can't wait to play with it!
What they all said. I think it's awesome.
Wow- Looks great! I wish they would add a bigger "follow" button =)
Yeah! What Kelly said. I think I might read other people's stuff more.
I am new to AC but I love the new look, cant wait for it to launch
Some exciting changes!! I'm so pleased to be a contributor here at AC/Yahoo!
(I'm posting from work, so do not know if this will post.)
Love the search field - I have that on my own site and it really helps the user find what they need.
Love the new look - can't wait till its live!!!
I thrive on change, so I'm really looking forward to the NEW profile pages.
Yea! This is so exciting! I love to see enhancements to the AC website and this is a definate plus!
I think it looks extremely professional. I also think that perhaps the numbers should be smaller?
But that is not a great deterrent. I agree with the other that it is nice to see the faces of the writers.
Wonderful new look!
Really classy and very professional loooking.
I love it!
Sounds very cool and exciting! I especially like the idea of filtering content!
This is fantastic! I cannot wait!
Absolutely love it!
Very nice! Love the featured content idea. Looking forward to trying it out. Thanks AC!
It's pretty annoying that you disable right-clicking on associatedcontent.com. It makes it a pain in the ass to copy links and open them in new tabs. What the Hell?
I think it looks great and it's a big step forward. Good thinking.
This is great! Very professional, kudos to the AC development team!!!
Yahoo has really improved AC..Thanks Yahoo. We love the changes..

I'm not AC Staff, but maybe I can help. I was just wondering what browser you use on AC? Right clicking is not disabled on AC for me. You might want to switch browsers and see if that solves the issue or check the settings on your browser. Hope that helps!
Ready - Set - Launch!
I am thrilled with the new look! I believe this will create more interest and drive more readers to AC which will benefit the contributors and the advertisers.
I like it. I think it promotes the writer better, but I'm not sure I like the dashboard section with pvs, etc. for the public to see.
Nice job on this AC!
I love it too! Looks like a very positive change for us all.
I like it a lot! I think this can only mean better things for all of us as contributors, and it looks pretty cool having a bigger picture :)
Looks very good!
Oh My Greed...I love this. The content filter for sharing others...I've been wanting that for a long time.
Thank you.
With regards to the posts about the inability to copy and paste on AC, I have the same problem and do not know how to fix it.
I have no settings on Firefox that would disable this feature.
Any other suggestions about how to get around this? It is very annoying as the previous post mentioned.
Love the new look--very professional! I too LOVE the filter option, as I have my content links sorted by category on my own blog.
Nice new look! I particularly like the Customizable Features Widget.
Superb! Love the new aspects for featuring content and categorization. Excellent, author-friendly ideas!
Also, I think the page looks professional.
Yep this looks like a good one! Can't wait!
I love it! I definately like being able to showcase the best content. AC has been a winner for at least five years now, and I know the evolution of things like this make it worth staying with them!
I'm excited about the filter. I don't like having the health and travel articles mixed -- it doesn't make sense.
Very nice! Thanks AC - being able to filter content will help the timing of postings at my blog. Great job!
I am looking forward to the changes. I'm also glad to see that the pictures are going to be bigger!
Very professional looking and it will benefit both AC and all of the contributor's.
Ditto, but not in a Rush Limbaughy way! What I especially like is the ability to self-select one's prime content. When I check out new contributors, I'll be able to peruse among their best work and decide if I want to follow them.
It looks good so far. Next up is to see if everything works properly without glitches. :) Now, if they allow us to edit our own already published articles and help us with better stock photos for us to use, I will be 100% happy.
I look forward to being able to serve up the content to our readers in this easier, more user-friendly format!
I am hoping this get read...Is there any way for us to get cool looking buttons for our blogs/websites to go with the cool looking Contributor Profile?
I don't mean promotional badges but something that shows we are AC writers without the whole "Join. Submit. Earn." on it? The tiny ones just doesn't seem to go with what I have on my blog (need them a bit larger)...
Thanks!
The AC site is constantly evolving and changing. Anything that creates more page views and accessibility is always welcome.
YAY, can't wait t see it AND use it :)
I love the idea of the customizable content widget! Oh also that my gorgeous mug will be enlarged. (joking) ha ha! Seriously, this looks so much better and is a more modern way to display our work for AC. I can't wait for the rollout!
I like it because it's an incremental change instead of something that stops you dead in your tracks.
Bigger numbers are fine, but I don't like the picture. If that's actually the author's picture, people would be able to identify her in real life...that's NOT a good thing. For myself I want to keep the small, blurry, anonymous cat picture.
These new improvements will help us to get our content noticed better I think. I can't wait.
Amazingly enough, I don't think there is one thing I do not like about the new profile pages. Hope it comes soon ;>
