That spirit of camaraderie was especially apparent today as a group of Contributors used social networks to organize "Lyn Lomasi Appreciation Day," honoring one of our most active Contributors by sharing her work through social networks including Twitter and Facebook.Lyn Lomasi is an Associated Content Community Guide who has worked tirelessly to help new Contributors succeed. She's always eager to assist other writers in the promotion of their content. On April 23rd, 2010, the tables were turned as numerous Contributors pledged to share at least ten pieces of Lyn's content with their own social networks and/or personal blogs and websites. Many also shared a message recognizing Lyn's extraordinary contributions to Associated Content on the topics of parenting, green living, and home schooling.
The Day of Appreciation began as soon as Lyn logged off her computer and went to bed last night. Her friends and supporters immediately started sharing some of her best articles through Facebook, Twitter, and their own websites. This morning, Lyn woke up and began her day of writing and social networking with a great surprise: Her writing was all over the Internet, along with compliments and thanks for the help she's given to so many Contributors. True to form, Lyn immediately took time to thank each participant individually.
Associated Content congratulates Lyn Lomasi on the hard work and gracious character that has endeared her to so many Contributors. We're Lyn Lomasi Appreciators, too, and we can't wait to meet her during her upcoming visit to the Denver office.

Wow! I am still so touched by this! The AC Family amazes me every day. Actions such as this and countless times when fellow Contributors have been so supportive of each other are a huge part of what makes the AC Community so special.
This means so much to me - more than I can say in words. A writer at a loss for words - that's how awesome it made me feel.
I don't think of members of the AC Community only as colleagues, but as family. What everyone did today is an excellent testament if anyone ever wonders why.
I truly appreciate everyone who participated and even those who didn't.

Now I feel guilty for not learning how to Tweet, but I will. Lyn DID show my learn how to hyperlink after I got a partner call that demanded four hyperlinks and I'm desperate like "Oh, no, what can I do?" And Tweets all my stuff. And showed me how to do boldface and italics. Dang I forget everything. Thank you Lyn; be sure to take time for your own writing too.!

This is amazing! Lyn gave me very helpful advice when I first joined AC a few years ago. I'll never forget that. I don't know where she finds the time to do all of this. She always responded to my messages and tweets on Twitter. She is an amazing writer and person. She really makes AC great. Lyn Lomasi deserves a week of appreciation!

I remember as a newcomer in AC, while I was browsing through the website I landed up on contents by Lyn and she was the first contributor who inspired me and have been her fan since. Congratulations Lyn, wish you great success.
